Third Eye Point

Are you feeling depressed? Fatigued? Overwhelmed? Try using acupressure on your Third Eye Point.

Taking the index, middle and ring fingers of either hand, press the tips between your eyebrows vertically.  Your middle finger will be about level with your brow, your index on your forehead and your ring finger at the top of your nose. Hold them there gently but firmly while you breathe slowly and deeply. Doing this for two minutes or more is optimal, but any amount of time will still be helpful.

You can close your eyes while you do this, and, to make it an even more pleasant experience, imagine you’re somewhere very relaxing.

Pressing your Third Eye Point this way is excellent for relieving pain, depression, chronic fatigue, mood swings, and overwhelm.  It helps to balance your pituitary and thyroid glands.  It cultivates your spirituality, and increases your intuition.

It can also relieve mental stress, an upset stomach, frustration, confusion, and mental congestion. It may relieve headaches, ulcer pain, fibromyalgia, hormonal imbalances, and addictions.  

Using this technique cultivates your spirituality, and increases your intuition. It’s great to use when you’re in recovery from grief, trauma, surgery, an injury, or substance abuse.  It may help you to obtain greater peace, spiritual fulfillment, inner strength, and happiness
