ToggleIn the latest episode of A Better World with Julann and Fran, Frances O’Brien C.Ht. sits down with Guzalia Davis — a multidimensional healer, shamanic practitioner, and hypnosis educator — for a deeply moving conversation about the art of healing, the fluidity of therapeutic modalities, and finding purpose in service.
While co-host Julann was tending to a family emergency, certified Hypnotherapist in Los Angeles, Frances O’Brien, took the helm to explore Guzalia’s incredible journey from underground Soviet-era shamanism to being a respected hypnotherapist and holistic teacher in the U.S.
A natural-born healer, Guzalia Davis began her healing work as a child alongside her grandmother, a traditional shaman. She didn’t call it hypnosis back then. It was spirit, energy, and magic. Over time, as she studied psychology, metaphysics, and therapy in the U.S., she came to understand that much of her intuitive work aligned with what we call trance work or hypnosis today.
“I don’t separate modalities. To me, it’s all one, just healing.” – Guzalia Davis
Guzalia blends hypnosis, energy work, past life regression, coaching, intuitive insights, and ancient shamanic practices into a fluid, intuitive healing process. While she refers to her services under the umbrella of “hypnosis,” what clients experience is much more holistic.
Her services include:
Intuitive hypnosis
Past life regression (her own method, distinct from Dolores Cannon’s QHHT)
Energy healing
Coaching
Meditation and self-discovery tools
Trauma and somatic release work
She also offers hypnosis training courses at Hypnosis-Training.online and private sessions at GuzaliaDavis.com.
When discussing past life regression, Guzalia highlights its therapeutic value — regardless of belief:
“It doesn’t matter if you or I believe in past lives. It works. It’s a tool for healing.”
Most clients arrive open-minded, and even skeptics are often “converted” by the depth of their experiences.
Guzalia’s practice evolves in cycles, often mirroring collective energy shifts. There are times when clients come seeking:
Metaphysical guidance
Somatic release
Smoking cessation
Physical healing
Identity discovery
She believes this alignment is synchronicity, not coincidence.
“You attract the kind of clients that reflect what you’re working on, even without trying.”
Rather than requiring costly in-person preparation sessions, Guzalia provides pre-recorded materials and writing prompts to guide clients before they arrive. This makes her work:
Efficient
Affordable
Deeply intentional
Her prep work helps clients clarify their real goals—because often, the issue they present with is only the first layer.
“Hypnosis is like peeling an onion. You remove one layer and find something deeper underneath.”
– Frances O’Brien
A powerful part of this episode explores how location and income affect healing.
In Maryland, Guzalia found clients paid premium prices for smoking cessation — but often didn’t take it seriously. In rural Pennsylvania, however, where many people live below the poverty line, smoking is a coping mechanism, not just a habit. Despite charging less, she finds greater commitment and transformation.
“When I ask for less money but ask for a promise—they take it seriously. And they show up for themselves.”
Guzalia is also an author and content creator. Her materials include:
Children’s bedtime stories written in hypnotic language to promote calm and positivity
Coaching books and metaphysical guides
A robust YouTube channel under her name
“People don’t read as much anymore. Now, video is king.”
Growing up in the Soviet Union, Guzalia’s grandmother worked in secret. The word “shaman” was outlawed, and charging for healing services was illegal. People paid in eggs, honey, and knitted scarves. Despite trying to escape that life through academia and business, Guzalia eventually came full circle — realizing healing was her calling all along.
“I ran from myself for years. And I ended up just like my grandmother — healing people, sometimes for eggs and chickens.”
Guzalia’s philosophy is rooted in service and spiritual duty, much like her grandmother’s. Whether she’s working with trauma, regression, addiction, or personal growth, she sees each person as a whole being — and healing as an intuitive unfolding, not a protocol.
“You cannot charge for what the spirit does. It’s not a job — it’s your duty.”
Guzalia Davis is a shamanic practitioner, certified hypnotist, author, and hypnosis educator. She blends traditional healing with modern therapeutic tools.
Yes. According to Guzalia, past life regression is a therapeutic tool. Whether viewed as memory or metaphor, it often brings deep emotional healing.
Intuitive hypnosis involves the flexible use of multiple healing modalities—hypnosis, coaching, energy work, and more—based on the client’s energy and needs in the moment.
